No blog today – was called upon to broadcast to the Nation and Commonwealth. Was shown in left profile talking to Heather (in pink jacket) and Asha (in a young outfit). Lovely background of live London – panorama.

Great highs to speak of – Harry Rollo’s perf at the London Bowl – earth-shattering. He tends more and more towards music. Has coupled now successfully with great traditions. The after-party, Lord Arrowby at the foot of the stairs. He was later mauled by a poet.

I haven’t finished with Normandy and all that Upstairs, Downstairs wonder.
