Do look at the comments on this morning’s posting, readers. This site is being infiltrated by impostors and maniacs. What do you make of Vivienne Bar Tendah-Smallmeal, claiming to be a relation of Robin Smallmeal ? Do any of you feel like handing over £156,000,000? On the other hand, we must not automatically think the worst.

A bientot,
Rupert
Who would have dreamt of all these Smallmeals? But this family historie must be bogus.
Does anybody know whether the Smallmeals are related to the Snakk family, of Norway?
To get this blog back on track and away from impostors and maniacs (i.e. keeping loosely on-theme) I should like to ask you a genuine question, one which has been perturbing me since the weekend: What should the poor little rich gay response be to an invitation to attend a stag weekend with the risk of having to eat and drink at various Wethersp**n establishments and finish the Saturday evening off at a Sp**rmint Rhino strip joint?
well Prince, if you are not gay then why go? you know what stag nights are all about – whether they are straight or even gay; remember what boy george said ….”i prefer a cup of tea”. life is too short to comply with that sort of duty ……in future say ”no” and do something you want to do
Your Royal Highness, I think you should definitely go. I don’t believe in separation. The important thing is to be yourself and wear a crown or tiara just as you would at home. After all, we like them to come to our parties, don’t we?
I remember travelling with Edge and the Gay Mother to Baalbek, where the Gay Mother, unperturbed by difference of any kind, surged into the local Shiite mosque, albeit in a totally enveloping garment (she might equally have been a rhinoceros for all one could tell). Embrace difference but don’t conform.
