I’ve eight dining of a sudden. Cousin Vera is coming and her son, Harlech. She texted back weeks ago to say she wasn’t sure, would consult diary; not heard of again. Then phoned while I was at Maltby Street Market marketing for the function to say it was in HER diary.

Only had to buy one extra aubergine and some cheese.

But, huge news: so epic, so momentous. The Multis have regained this country after five weeks in India. Their machine touched down at Row 22 minutes late at 13.43.
