In the first place, we meditate on the Nativity. We must remember that it was two weeks before the Wise Men turned up. Just think of the Madonna, Joseph and the extras stuck in the Nativity pose for three hundred and thirty-six hours. At last they could knock off or so they thought. But  the stylists said they’d got to wait another 1500 years for Raphael, Botticelli and all that lot to appear. It was rather like a wedding sponsored by Hello! magazine.

In the second place, the top of The Shard – it’s not straight. I’ve a duty to tell them. Near to, they can’t see. It’s like putting up a picture. You’ve got to step back to be sure it’s not skew.
