I’ve been knocked out. ‘Please Be Upstanding for the Bride’. ‘Please be upstanding for the Groom.’ The Bath Abbey wedding. What a scene! The lady sitting next to me, from a university background, said, ‘A strange convention, these wedding speeches.’

Very male, many guffaws. How was my summer scarf, separates and lack of tie received, despite the near nude Bride?

By tomorrow, I hope to have recovered sufficiently to describe. Then we have the Gay Mother’s early morning recipe mania, and, at last, at last – my new car.
